I. Opening Restrictions

1. Supported Futures Assets

During the first phase of AscendEX's copy-trading feature, only specific futures assets are supported. Therefore, traders need to pay attention to supported futures assets when leading orders.

  • If you want to lead orders, please select futures assets applicable for copy trading.
  • If futures assets are not available for copy trading, the positions you open on those assets will be considered independent positions for the trader, and followers will not be able to copy those trades.

2. Position Leverage

The leverage available for opening positions will be subject to certain limitations based on the specific futures asset. Different futures assets may have varying maximum leverages.

II. Closing Restrictions

 For lead traders trading on AscendEX, there are specific restrictions when closing futures positions:

  • All futures positions, including leading positions and independent positions (positions on assets not available for copy trading), can only be closed at market price. However, you can only choose to close all of your positions at the market price, which means that partial closing at the market price is not available.
  • All futures positions, including leading positions and independent positions (positions on assets not available for copy trading), support take-profit and stop-loss. However, you can only set take-profit and stop-loss on all positions, thus take-profit and stop-loss for partial positions are not available.
